Job summary

Hydrogen Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to own the electrical scope across the full lifecycle of power generation projects, from conceptual design and FEED through detailed engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and energization. Projects include gas turbines, utility-scale solar and battery energy storage systems (BESS).

You will lead electrical system design, power distribution, grid integration and equipment selection, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering or related field.
10+ years of engineering experience in power systems (7+ considered with relevant experience).
Experience in power generation, utility-scale renewables, or industrial power systems.
Experience across conceptual design, FEED, detailed engineering/EPC, construction and commissioning.

Responsibilities

Develop preliminary single-line diagrams, electrical layouts and system architectures for power generation projects.
Define HV and MV power distribution strategies and network configurations.
Perform load flow, fault and short-circuit studies; assess transformers, switchgear and power conversion equipment.
Coordinate with EPC contractors and equipment vendors; review documentation and calculations.
Develop protection philosophies and relay strategies; support FATs and SATs.
