Job summary

Hydrogen Group seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer for power generation projects in Dallas, TX. The role centers on owning the electrical scope across the full lifecycle from conceptual design through energization, coordinating with EPCs, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams.

Projects include gas turbines, utility-scale solar, and BESS, with a strong emphasis on HV/MV design, grid integration, and protection schemes. Relocation assistance and a competitive base salary are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of engineering experience within power systems; 7+ years acceptable.
• Experience in power generation, utility-scale renewables or industrial power systems.
• Experience across lifecycle: conceptual design to energization.
• Strong HV/MV design and grid integration knowledge.
• Protection schemes and relay coordination experience.
• Familiar with IEEE, IEC and NEC standards.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own electrical scope across lifecycle from concept to energization.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors and equipment vendors.
• Review and approve electrical drawings, protection schematics, and grounding designs.
• Ensure designs comply with project specs and applicable standards.
• Support procurement, FATs, and field installation activities.
