Job summary

Fourier Intelligence is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer to design and validate high power electrical systems for hydrogen electrolyzers.

You will own power converters architecture, perform bench-top bring-up, and establish a lab for power electronics development with rigorous documentation and safety practices. The role emphasizes SLDs, protection schemes, EMI control, and integration of AC-DC and DC-DC converters up to 50 kW into larger systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is a plus.
• Experience bringing power electronics from concept to deployment in high-power systems.

Responsibilities

• Explore and develop ideas for high power electrical systems (>100 kW, AC-DC).
• Select and validate converter topologies and perform bench testing.
• Design power electronic converters (AC-DC and DC-DC up to 50 kW).
• Create and maintain high-quality Single Line Diagrams (SLDs).
• Design protection circuits for current, voltage, and temperature.
• Develop low voltage design and CAN/RS-485 communication interfaces.
• Develop isolation/ground schemes and low-voltage rails.
• High power PCB design/layout using Altium.
• Modeling and simulation of power circuits (LTspice/PLECS).
• Component selection (MOSFET/IGBT, controllers, OP-amps, ADCs).
• Define converter control concepts and small-signal design.
