Job summary

Solaris Energy Infrastructure, Inc. seeks a Lead Electrical Engineer to provide senior technical leadership for hybrid power systems, including gas turbines, large-scale battery energy storage, and BOP infrastructure.

You will guide design, commissioning, and cross-functional coordination to deliver efficient, safe, and on-budget projects. The role requires 8+ years in electrical/project engineering, PE licensure, and expertise in power systems, protection, and grid interconnection.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering activities for gas turbine power plants and BESS.
• Review engineering deliverables and provide mentorship to engineers and designers.
• Develop and manage project technical deliverables (diagrams, schematics, layouts, specs).
• Perform power system studies and modeling for grid interactions and BESS integration.
• Establish electrical engineering standards and best practices across projects.
• Support RFIs and procurement with equipment specifications and submittals.
• Coordinate vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams to deliver on time and budget.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements throughout projects.
