Job summary
Solaris Energy Infrastructure, Inc., based in Houston, TX, is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to guide senior electrical engineering and project execution for hybrid power systems, including gas turbine plants and large-scale battery energy storage systems.
The role entails design oversight, mentoring engineers, coordinating vendors and contractors, and delivering safe, reliable, and on-schedule projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; PE license preferred.
- 8+ years in electrical/project engineering with turbine, storage or hybrid systems.
- Experience leading multi-discipline teams and vendors.
- Proficiency with ETAP, SKM, DIgSILENT, PSCAD, and related tools.
Responsibilities
- Provide senior technical leadership for design through commissioning of gas turbine and BESS projects.
- Mentor project engineers and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams.
- Review deliverables and ensure on-time, on-budget execution.
- Interface with customers, vendors, and regulators to meet requirements.
