Job summary

Amphenol ICC is seeking a Power Systems Engineer to bridge power architecture and interconnect engineering. You will work with hyperscalers, GPU/CPU partners, and Rack Power ODMs to capture requirements and translate them into connector and cable power solutions, aligning architecture with product capability.

You will serve as the primary technical liaison, supporting customers and internal teams, while building fluency in power delivery and interconnect technology.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Bachelors with 3+ years in power connector, systems engineering, or related discipline.
• Master’s with 1+ years in power connector, systems engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customer engineering teams to capture requirements and develop power interconnect solutions.
• Translate system-level power architecture into connector and cable requirements for product development.
• Serve as front-facing technical contact for power architecture discussions with customer teams.
• Collaborate with product engineering and manufacturing to deliver power interconnect solutions.
• Develop technical requirement documents and inputs for design-in activities.
• Support qualification, validation, and design-in activities at customer sites.
• Track industry standards (e.g., OCP) shaping power delivery roadmaps.
• Provide customer and market insight to internal roadmap and development.
