Job summary

Aligned Data Centers, LLC seeks a Senior Manager of Power Generation Engineering to provide strategic leadership across generation facilities. Manages design, analysis, lifecycle management, and capital projects for thermal, hydroelectric, and renewable assets, ensuring safety, compliance, and reliability.

The role drives continuous improvement, oversees RCA investigations, and coordinates with ISOs/regulatory bodies to optimize plant performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; power engineering focus. Master’s in related field preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required; NERC certification preferred.
• 10+ years in electric power generation; 4+ years in a supervisory role; capital project experience >$10M.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineers; set priorities and goals.
• Oversee design, analysis, and lifecycle management of generation assets (thermal, hydro, renewables).
• Direct capital projects; approve design deliverables and manage change control.
• Ensure compliance with NERC, FERC, EPA, OSHA, NEC, NFPA, IEEE standards.
• Improve reliability and performance via data-driven analysis and predictive maintenance.
