Job summary

WorleyParsons in Houston seeks a Senior Construction Manager to lead large power generation projects from planning through execution. You will translate objectives into actionable field strategies, influence site performance, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

You will oversee multidisciplinary teams and coordinate closely with engineering, procurement, controls, commissioning and startup teams to deliver integrated project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 15+ years of progressive construction leadership experience in power generation or energy infrastructure.
• Experience managing complex, high‑impact construction projects with safety, quality, schedule, cost, and workforce performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction execution across major power generation projects, aligning with objectives and customer expectations.
• Oversee integrated construction plans translating strategic objectives into site delivery strategies.
• Drive safety, quality, productivity, schedule adherence, and cost control across construction activities.
• Provide leadership to Construction Managers, Area Managers, Superintendents, Field Supervisors, and contractors.
• Establish a culture of safety excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, project controls, commissioning, and startup teams for integrated delivery.
• Support contract execution strategies through proactive risk management and change control.
• Review progress, performance metrics, and field execution plans to stay aligned with goals.
