Job summary

Entergy Texas, Inc. team is seeking a senior project development leader to oversee the origination and development of large power plant projects, typically above $250M.

You will manage a cross-functional team, secure key contracts, and guide the project from greenfield/brownfield development through front-end loading. You will collaborate with regulators and stakeholders to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective project execution, while mentoring team members and driving a strategic development

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field OR 4 years of equivalent related work experience.
• 10 years of experience in Project Management, Construction Management, Electric Utility Industry, or related field.
• PMP certification (preferred).
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and leads a project development team for generation projects and manages the development pipeline from greenfield to hand-off.
• Negotiates and supports contracts with internal/external stakeholders; ensures compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
• Develops project vision and execution philosophy, delivers Stage Gate lifecycle deliverables, and maintains timely status reporting.
