Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Manager, Power Development to lead an engineering team providing technical governance for our clean generation portfolio, including solar, wind, and battery projects.

You will coordinate with project teams, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure safe, reliable, cost-competitive design and successful project execution across development and construction stages.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering is required.
• 10 years of experience in engineering/design of power generation and/or industrial facilities.
• PE license and PMP certification are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of technical specifications for new clean generation projects, ensuring integration of industry best practices and lessons learned.
• Review engineering design deliverables and evaluate alternatives before contract execution.
• Provide engineering guidance to project teams to resolve technical issues.
• Coordinate with project execution and operations to evaluate technical specification deviations.
• Be knowledgeable of MISO interconnection processes and other regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and secure approval of formal decision documents establishing technical positions.
• Coordinate and manage Owner's Engineer firms for independent technical assurance.
• Collaborate with internal teams on new clean generation technology assessments and long-range planning initiatives.
