Job summary

The Perry Group, a CDM Smith company, seeks an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with significant heavy industrial power plant experience. You will define project scope, schedules, and budgets, and lead cross-functional teams to ensure profitability and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include managing costs, client billings, subcontractor payments, risk reviews, and change control, while mentoring junior PMs and coordinating with stakeholders across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 13+ years of relevant work experience.
• PMP/CCM/DBIA certification required within 12 months of hire or promotion.

Responsibilities

• Define project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives.
• Manage project costs and profitability; review client billings and subcontractor invoices.
• Monitor project risks and escalate as needed; manage changes using change protocols.
• Communicate deadlines and objectives to project teams; coordinate with stakeholders.
• Prepare schedules, budgets, and construct budgets by group responsibility.
• Coordinate subcontractors and engineering for timely submittals and reviews.
• Mentor less experienced Project Managers and support teams.
• Travel 10% or less.
