Job summary

The Perry Group, a CDM Smith company, seeks an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with significant experience in heavy industrial power / power plants. You will lead project definitions, schedules, budgets and client communications across multiple stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have 13+ years of relevant experience and hold PMP/CCM/DBIA within 12 months of hire. Expect on-site collaboration, limited travel (10% or less), and a focus on profitability and timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 13+ years of relevant work experience.
• PMP, CCM or DBIA certification within 12 months of hire.
• Experience with design-build/EPC heavy industrial power projects.
• Strong budgeting, scheduling, and change management.

Responsibilities

• Create project definitions, schedules, budgets and objectives.
• Prepare statements of work with work breakdown structures and gain approvals.
• Manage project costs and profitability.
• Coordinate client billings, ensure payment, and approve subcontractor invoices.
• Monitor project risks and escalate as appropriate.
• Manage change using change management protocols.
• Communicate deadlines, assignments, and objectives to project teams.
• Prepare overall project schedule and in-house budgets by group.
• Facilitate meetings with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Mentor less experienced Project Managers.
