Job summary

The Perry Group, a CDM Smith company, seeks an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with extensive heavy industrial power plant experience. You will define projects, manage budgets, schedules, and risk while ensuring profitability and timely client billings.

Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder coordination are essential. Thirteen+ years of relevant experience and a PMP/CCM/DBIA certification within 12 months are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 13+ years of relevant work experience preferred.
• PMI PMP/ CCM or DBIA certification within 12 months of hire or promotion.
• Strong budgeting, scheduling, and change-management capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Create project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives.
• Prepare statements of work with budgets and gain stakeholder concurrence.
• Manage project costs and profitability; review client billings and subcontractor invoices.
• Monitor project risks and changes; enforce change-management protocols.
• Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders; lead pre-bid meetings and bid tabulations.
• Mentor less experienced Project Managers and prepare monthly reports.
