Job summary

Waterford Power, LLC seeks a skilled Control Room Operator for combined cycle power plant operations in Ohio. You will monitor turbines, HRSGs, pumps and auxiliaries, ensuring safe startup, operation and shutdown while adhering to environmental and safety regulations.

The role emphasizes process data analysis, instrument calibration, and coordination with maintenance teams to keep plant reliability high and compliance intact.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or relevant equivalent experience required.
• Knowledge of operating and maintenance instructions and procedures.
• Understanding plant safety, start-up, operation and shutdown of boilers/HRSGs and auxiliaries.
• Ability to analyze and calibrate plant instruments and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate plant equipment from control room ensuring safe, compliant operation.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on turbines, pumps, valves and actuators.
• Analyze process data, trends and alarms; document issues and actions taken.
• Follow procedures to isolate equipment and obtain proper clearances before work.
• Maintain water treatment and chemical analysis within regulatory standards.
