GE Vernova seeks a Senior Electricity Market Optimization Software Engineer to lead design, development, testing and tuning of power systems applications for Utilities, ISOs and TSOs. You will guide a team of engineers and interact with cross-functional groups to ensure on-schedule delivery and quality standards.

Qualification includes a Master’s in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field, 4+ years in electricity markets or MIP optimization, and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with thesis or related work in power systems.
• Minimum of four years of experience in Electricity Markets, U.S. power system optimization, or related applications.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, and evolve software for electricity markets in a fast-paced Agile environment.
• Provide technical leadership to a team of electricity markets engineers and mentor juniors.
• Lead development, testing, and integration to meet project commitments and customer requirements.
