Job summary

Talisman seeks a seasoned Managing Director to lead the expansion of its Power Markets practice across the U.S. energy investment landscape.

You will originate engagements, develop senior client relationships with private equity, infrastructure investors, lenders and asset owners, and guide advisory teams delivering market- and investment-focused solutions. In this senior role, you will act as a trusted advisor, oversee complex valuations, due diligence, and market analysis, and mentor a growing

Qualifications

• Significant experience in power markets or energy consulting.
• Track record of winning and growing advisory engagements.
• Established network within financial community (private equity, infrastructure funds, lenders).
• Strong knowledge of U.S. wholesale power markets.
• Experience supporting investment decisions, valuations, due diligence.
• Ability to engage with senior executives and investment professionals.
• Leadership experience managing consultants.
• Direct experience building or operating power-market models is beneficial but not central.

Responsibilities

• Originate and develop new client relationships across power, infrastructure and financial markets.
• Generate consulting engagements through an established investor network.
• Lead senior client relationships and advise on complex investment decisions.
• Support transaction-related assignments including due diligence and asset valuation.
• Advise clients on wholesale power markets, market fundamentals and investment strategy.
• Translate power-market analysis into actionable insights for investors.
• Lead and develop a team of consultants to ensure high-quality engagements.
