talisman, a leading organization in the US power sector, seeks a senior leader to guide a cross-disciplinary team focused on power market strategy, pricing, and policy. You will present findings to senior leadership, regulators, and industry partners while shaping market evolution to improve reliability and efficiency.

The role combines research, quantitative analysis, and practical recommendations, with collaboration across engineering, planning, and policy groups.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or economics; master's/PhD preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in power markets, energy economics, operations, or planning.
• At least 1 year of people management experience.
• Strong understanding of wholesale electricity markets and pricing.

Responsabilidades

• Lead research and analysis on power market structures, pricing, and policy developments.
• Develop recommendations on how markets should evolve to support reliability, efficiency, and new technologies.
• Apply advanced economic, engineering, and statistical methods to complex market and policy questions.
• Represent the organization's positions with external audiences, including regulators and industry groups.
• Work across engineering, operations, planning, and policy teams to deliver strategic initiatives.
• Track industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory change.
• Contribute to annual and multiyear planning, and manage budgets.
• Manage, coach, and develop a team.
