Job summary

Talisman Advisory Partners seeks a Vice President to lead execution of complex M&A and strategic advisory transactions in the power, renewables and infrastructure sectors from New York. The successful candidate will work closely with senior bankers, manage junior team members, and drive deal workstreams from inception through closing.

This role focuses on advisory work rather than project finance, offering exposure to top-tier clients and large-scale deals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university.
• 5–8 years of investment banking or M&A advisory experience.
• Strong transaction execution experience with significant deal exposure.
• Experience across power, renewables, infrastructure, or energy transition sectors preferred.
• Knowledge of conventional power generation and/or renewable energy highly desirable.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation capabilities.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage junior professionals and multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution workstreams across M&A and strategic advisory transactions.
• Develop and oversee complex financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction materials.
• Coordinate diligence processes and manage external advisors and counterparties.
• Prepare client presentations, board materials, and transaction documentation.
• Support senior bankers in client coverage and origination efforts.
• Manage analysts and associates across live transactions and pitches.
• Build relationships with infrastructure investors, sponsors, and strategic corporates.
• Contribute to strategic positioning and idea generation across the power and infrastructure landscape.
