Job summary

Gridsight seeks a Principal Power Engineering Consultant to blend technical consulting with solution delivery for utility customers. You will deploy and optimize the Gridsight platform, guide teams, and ensure robust, compliant implementations in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifying candidates have 5–10 years in power systems, experience with distribution planning and DER integration, and strong scripting skills. Hybrid work option available with a competitive salary and equity.

Qualifications

• Educational background in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems.
• 5–10 years of experience in power systems engineering.
• Hands-on experience with modeling tools and cloud-based SaaS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as in-house subject matter expert on distribution systems.
• Lead end-to-end technical onboarding for utility customers.
• Develop training sessions, workshops and user guides.
• Support RFIs, RFPs and program applications.
• Collaborate with product/engineering to refine features.
