Bartlett & West, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager I in Power Generation Engineering to lead business development and project delivery across multiple Texas locations.

The role emphasizes entrepreneurial mindset, engineering design understanding, and client relationship growth. The position focuses on developing and expanding the Power Generation practice, guiding staff, and leading high-level positioning activities to pursue major projects while coordinating with marketing and leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum 10+ years of design, staff management and business development.
• Travel 10–15% of time.

Responsibilities

• Positioning and Client Development (40%). Build business plans and identify opportunities with market leaders; develop strategies for future opportunities.
• Staff recruitment and management (10%). Identify, hire, and retain top talent; manage local staff producing engineering deliverables.
• Project oversight and management (20%). Manage scope, schedule, fees, QA/QC, revenue and invoicing; monthly financial analysis.
• Client Relationship management (10%). Track client records; develop relationships and opportunities; coordinate meetings with stakeholders.
• Mentoring/Coaching & Other Responsibilities (10%). Mentor project managers and senior staff.
