Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an Automation Subject Matter Expert in Houston, TX to provide expert leadership on advanced power generation technologies, automation, and data-enabled monitoring. You will collaborate with electrical, controls, mechanical, and field operations teams to standardize architectures and support full lifecycle engineering from concept to commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in automation engineering or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in power generation and automation.
• Strong knowledge of gas turbine packages, PMS integration, and balance of plant interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for power generation, automation, telemetry, and digital infrastructure.
• Lead/system architecture definition, testing, validation, and commissioning activities.
• Develop standards, specifications, and reusable architectures across product lines.
• Support data-driven condition monitoring and predictive maintenance initiatives.
