Job summary
Paycom Automation SME Manager leads and manages a multidisciplinary team delivering advanced automation, telemetry, and data acquisition for power generation systems. You will set technical direction across multiple product lines, oversee system integration, and drive performance improvements across the lifecycle.
The role requires strong leadership, deep technical expertise in automation and controls, and the ability to coordinate across Product Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, and Field
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Controls, Automation, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering or related field.
- Ten+ years of progressive experience in power generation, automation, or related heavy industrial environments.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams across engineering disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and technical oversight for a multidisciplinary SME team in power generation, automation, and telemetry.
- Standardize automation architectures, control philosophies, and system interfaces across product lines.
- Lead complex RCA activities and drive corrective/preventive actions.
- Collaborate with various engineering groups to resolve complex technical challenges.
- Promote a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
