Rivian in Carson, CA seeks a Sr. Staff Manufacturing Engineer for Power Electronics to act as the technical authority across DREs, ME, and supplier partners.

You will vet suppliers, drive DFMEAs, and support pilot lines through full production ramps for high‑voltage modules and related power electronics. You will lead process capability studies, tool qualification, and design-for-manufacture implementation while collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure scalable, robust manufacturing

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a mechanical engineering field; Master’s preferred.
• 8+ years in manufacturing engineering, supplier integration or DFx roles.
• Proven ability to vet external suppliers and contract manufacturers.

Responsabilidades

• Lead supplier audits and process capability reviews to ensure ramp readiness.
• Collaborate with design and ME teams to optimize producibility of power electronics.
• Drive DFMEAs, GD&T tolerances, and design-for-manufacture rules.
• Oversee equipment qualification, FAT/SAT and line handover activities.
• Lead root-cause analyses and implement corrective actions on issues.
