Job summary

Rivian seeks an experienced Electrical Hardware Program Manager to drive the design, development, release, and validation of Electric Power Conversion hardware for charging and vehicle products. You will lead cross-functional teams, track milestones, and manage supplier coordination and BOMs to ensure timing and quality.

Responsibilities include in-house PCBA development, production startup, and DV/PV activity coordination.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with charging products, electric power conversion, electrical hardware design.
• Management of ECUs, including PCBAs for multiple projects.
• Understanding of the PCBA design and manufacturing processes.
• Experience coordinating with contract manufacturers.
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering/technology field or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of automotive program management experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive the end-to-end design, development, release, and validation of Rivian Electric Power Conversion Electrical Hardware projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on program deliverables, report status and risks.
• Establish high-level timelines and milestones, track release dates and MRDs.
• Lead in-house PCBA design and assemblies development, ensure quality and performance.
• Own BOM release and component sourcing with the supply chain team.
• Oversee engineering releases, prototype builds, and production start-up; manage ok2x process.
