Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support drive unit electronics and power conversion manufacturing. You will develop new processes, oversee equipment lifecycle from design to ramp-up, and lead in-house workstation development at the East Atlanta, GA facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering/physics/mathematics or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years in automated manufacturing environments (incl. internships).
• Hands-on experience with automation systems and data acquisition.
• Strong problem-solving and quick learning abilities.
• Effective communication within manufacturing and engineering teams.
• Detail-oriented with good record-keeping and organization.
• Proficient in electro-mechanical system design and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated production lines for flow, ergonomics, efficiency, scalability and quality monitoring.
• Manage equipment lifecycle from design to deployment.
• Lead in-house development of workstations, fixtures, and equipment.
• Oversee installation, FAT/SAT and ramp-up of equipment/lines.
• Drive resolution of open issues identified during FAT/SAT before hand-off to production.
• Develop and validate new equipment and fixtures for production.
