Eaton’s Electrical Critical Power Solutions Division in Raleigh, NC is seeking an Electrical Engineer – Power Electronics to join our team on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 remote). The role is open to relocation with sponsorship for U.S. candidates.

You will support product development and design of high‑power three‑phase UPS, energy storage, and MV products, guiding the full life cycle from concept to production within a global, multi‑disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (accredited) is required.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in power electronics (design, testing, or troubleshooting).
• Master's degree with 1 year experience in power electronics is also acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Develop new products from concept to production meeting requirements, safety, quality, cost and schedule.
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to design 3-phase 480V UPS, energy storage, and SST products.
• Create and maintain functional specifications aligned with customer and product management requirements.
• Review data and simulate power electronics, analog, and digital circuits; drive design rigor with simulations and Six Sigma concepts.
• Interface with vendors on component issues and provide design solutions.
• Support DVT, lab validation testing, and prototype delivery to customers.
