Job summary

Eaton Corporation's Electrical Critical Power Solutions Division seeks a Lead Electrical Engineer to drive the electrical design and development of UPS, SPD, batteries, and power distribution products from concept through manufacturing launch.

In this role you will mentor junior engineers, set design standards, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance with UL/IEEE/IEC/DOE standards while optimizing reliability and cost across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with 5 years’ experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Experience leading electrical design teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical aspects of SPD per specs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet standards.
• Drive SOPs and DFMEA/DFSS for reliability and cost.
• Lead product certification planning and testing with NRTL labs.
• Support manufacturing through design for cost and manufacturability.
