Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division seeks a Lead Engineering Technician based near Raleigh, NC. This role provides hands-on support for MV-SST and 3-phase UPS products for data centers, utilities, and energy storage applications.

You will facilitate prototype builds, lab testing, troubleshooting, data collection, and certification activities with a strong focus on safety in a high-power electrical lab environment.

Competenze

• Associates degree in Electrical/Electronics from an accredited institution.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in an engineering laboratory, validation, test, manufacturing, or technical support role.
• Experience working with electrical systems and electronic test equipment.
• Willing and able to work safely in a high-power laboratory environment up to 35kV AC and high-energy DC systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Must reside within a 50 mile radius of Raleigh, NC.

Mansioni

• Install equipment and instrumentation for evaluation of power systems products.
• Perform product testing to industry standards.
• Use computer-based test equipment for recording and analysis of test data.
• Organize test data and prepare test reports.
• Fabricate, modify and repair electronic assemblies and related hardware.
• Test lab maintenance and organization.
