Schneider Electric is seeking a Senior Embedded Electronics Engineer for its Power Products division in the greater Raleigh, NC area. The role focuses on design, development, and validation of high-reliability power electronics and protection systems, with emphasis on safety-critical markets.

You will own the development lifecycle from concept to certification, collaborate across cross-disciplinary teams, and contribute to product innovation and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; 5+ years in electronics or power electronics product development; Master's/PhD preferred.
• Experience taking products from concept to commercialization in regulated or safety-critical markets.
• Strong schematic capture and multilayer PCB layout experience with ECAD tools.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop electronic hardware for solid-state circuit breakers, hybrid protection systems, FMPS and power conversion products.
• Own the product development lifecycle from concept through certification and commercialization.
• Develop robust analog, digital, and mixed-signal designs with emphasis on reliability, manufacturability, and EMC.
• Design and implement protection, sensing, fault detection, current limiting, communication, and control functions.
• Collaborate with firmware, software, systems, mechanical, manufacturing, and certification teams.
