Job summary

Schneider Electric seeks an experienced R&D Senior Manager to build and lead the Power Electronics Protection and Conversion organization in North America. The role combines strategic leadership, deep technical expertise, and unit-building to deliver advanced solid-state protection and power conversion technologies.

You will drive the technology roadmap, build a US testing lab, oversee major programs, and foster collaborations with government agencies and global teams to accelerate innovation

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering / Power Electronics (PhD or Master’s).
• 15+ years of experience in power electronics or related domains.
• Proven leadership in scaling R&D organizations and product incubation.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the Power Electronics technology roadmap aligned with global strategy.
• Establish and scale the US R&D team with testing and validation laboratory.
• Oversee key R&D programs and ensure technical milestones and performance targets.
