Job summary

Eos Energy Enterprises, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and implement cost-effective BMS-related electronics for battery storage systems.

You will design circuits, analyze performance, and produce schematics and layouts for high-voltage applications. You will develop DC-DC converters, DC-AC inverters, and power supplies, perform stress testing, ensure safety certification readiness, and collaborate with vendors, manufacturing, and field teams to deliver robust,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is required.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in electronic design and battery systems.

Responsibilities

• Circuit board layout with high-impedance analog signals and creepage/clearances for high voltage.
• Provide first principle techno-economic modeling to help define dimensions and electrical configuration of battery string control.
• Design and develop power electronic devices (DC-DC converters, DC-to-AC inverters, AC-to-DC rectifiers and power supplies).
• Work on schematics, component sizing and theoretical analysis to study worst-case scenarios and potential stresses.
• Conduct power systems modeling and load flow analysis to determine performance and capacity.
• Produce detailed engineering materials including design schematics, PCB layouts, tolerance analysis, design notes, FMEA, failure analysis reports, and technical review documents.
• Verification testing of electronic components and overall product designs.
• Provide maintenance of power systems application functionality, including documentation and user interfaces.
• Design to meet safety certification standards, such as UL and IEC.
• Coordinate and manage vendor, supplier, and contractor relationships for prototype design.
• Provide technical guidance to engineering personnel, manufacturing, and field operations.
• Other duties and activities may be assigned as needed in an agile design group.
