EOS Energy Enterprises seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to independently design and implement cost-effective electronic BMS solutions for battery storage. You will design and troubleshoot circuits, perform modeling and analysis, and produce schematics and layouts for high-voltage systems.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a minimum of 8 years of experience, with travel 10-25% across North America.

Formación

• Experience in troubleshooting, analyzing, and resolving complex electrical problems.
• Expertise in designing DC/DC converters, DC/AC inverters with emphasis on low-cost, high-performance designs for battery systems.
• Experience with design, specification, and procurement of electrical equipment and systems (switchgear, transformers, etc.).
• Understanding of electrical theory and electronics design in digital and analog domains.
• Ability to design and layout electrical circuit boards using Altium or KiCad.
• Familiarity with EMC design and safety certification processes (UL).
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, CAN, i2C and SPI, especially Modbus.
• Strong cross-disciplinary system design skills and ownership mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement cost-effective electronic BMS solutions for battery storage.
• Create schematics and layouts, model power electronics (DC/DC, DC/AC) and perform stress analyses.
• Conduct power systems modeling, load flow studies, and performance analyses.
• Produce design notes, FMEA, failure analyses, and technical review documents.
• Verify components and overall product designs; maintain documentation and user interfaces.
• Coordinate vendor and contractor relationships for prototype design; provide guidance to teams.
