Job summary

ALKU is seeking a Principal Hardware Engineer to join the DC Hardware team in North Reading, MA. In this role, you will design and validate high-current hardware for semiconductor automated test equipment, focusing on power delivery architecture.

The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in power electronics, with expertise in hardware design and the ability to lead cross-functional collaboration. This position provides an opportunity to own power delivery modules from concept through production release.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in power electronics, high-current power delivery, or instrumentation hardware design.
• Proficiency in simulation and analysis of loop stability and transient response.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment, including oscilloscopes and electronic loads.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate high-current, high-power sourcing and switching hardware.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions.
• Lead hardware bring-up, debugging complex analog/mixed-signal systems.
