Job summary

Base, America’s next-generation power company, is seeking a senior electronics design engineer to own the electrical architecture for energy storage systems, inverters, and interconnect devices, from concept to high-volume manufacturing.

You will lead a team of engineers, set design rigor, and drive LV embedded systems and power converter validation across the portfolio. A strong track record in power electronics and manufacturing readiness is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in electrical system design for high-power applications.
• Experience taking products from concept to high-volume manufacturing.
• Strong hands-on bring‑up with debugging and test.
• Proficiency in PCB layout and thermal management.
• Familiarity with automotive/industrial protocols.

Responsibilities

• Set electrical architecture and technical direction for Base's full product line, including inverters, BMS, and interconnect devices.
• Lead a team of electrical engineers and raise design standards.
• Drive LV embedded systems and power converter design across the product portfolio.
• Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, test, reliability, and manufacturing teams.
• Own production end of line testers.
• Debug complex system-level electrical issues across power and control domains.
• Champion continuous product improvement with field data and manufacturing feedback.
