Job summary
Base Power Company is seeking a Hardware Integration Engineer to help design and integrate residential energy storage hardware, including BMS, inverters, and MID systems. You will build robust hardware architectures for scalable home energy solutions and work closely with software teams to align control algorithms.
Ideal candidates have 5+ years of hardware development in energy storage, strong high-voltage design skills, and hands-on experience with PCB design, testing, and regulatory
Qualifications
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years hardware development experience.
- Strong fundamentals in circuit analysis, analog/digital electronics, high-voltage design.
- Experience with energy storage hardware, BMS, and power electronics.
- Proficiency in embedded software (C/C++, Python) and hardware/software integration.
Responsibilities
- Design and integrate BMS, inverters, and MID hardware for residential energy apps.
- Develop and maintain system architecture and electrical schematics.
- Conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting of integrated hardware systems.
- Partner with software teams to ensure seamless hardware/software integration.
- Support regulatory compliance and product certification processes.
