Duke Energy in Terrell, NC is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineering Technologist to oversee a broad range of power electrical systems at Marshall Steam Station. The role emphasizes technical leadership, system monitoring, testing and regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with Operations, Maintenance and Engineering, manage projects, and guide the training of staff while ensuring safety and reliability of AC/DC power components, transformers, switchgear, and control systems.

Formación

• Associate’s degree in engineering technology is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering technology is preferred.
• 8+ years related work experience, or 10+ years with High School/GED.
• Candidates must be able to work onsite in Terrell, NC.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the site subject matter expert for electrical systems and oversee testing and troubleshooting.
• Monitor and trend system/component performance to ensure reliability.
• Manage project scope, technical basis, installation and testing requirements for engineering design changes.
• Coordinate cross-functional work with Operations, Maintenance & Engineering to address system concerns and budgets.
• Interface with external vendors and ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
