Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Montana Power Delivery team. You will lead multi-disciplinary projects, manage client relationships, and drive strategies from pre-positioning through project completion.

The role requires strong communication, significant engineering project management experience, and a track record with high voltage substation and transmission line systems. HDR offers employee ownership and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is required/recognized.
10 years related experience; minimum 5 years PM experience.
PE license recognized by licensing board for position location.
MS Office and MS Project experience; Access is a plus.

Responsibilities

Direct and coordinate work of single or multi-discipline teams through the project lifecycle.
Manage large multi-discipline projects with high technical complexity.
Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently.
Establish and maintain client relations; participate in marketing, contractual, design and production meetings.
Conduct work sessions for deliverable development with staff and stakeholders.
Coordinate staffing and workload; ensure on-schedule delivery of deliverables.
Track financials and adjust work effort to meet budget and schedule.
Mentor project staff; implement QA/QC procedures.
