Job summary

Stanley Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Power Delivery to lead large-scale transmission and distribution projects. The role spans planning, design, and construction activities with cross-office teams in Denver and other locations.

The candidate will manage scope, schedule, cost, quality, and client relationships while supporting business development and portfolio reviews. A PE or PMI certification is preferred; hybrid work is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or business.
• Minimum 10+ years in Energy Engineering with 5+ years in PM.
• Experience in Transmission Line, Substation, and Distribution projects.
• Understanding of PMP Principles.
• Proven ability to manage large multi-discipline programs and multi-office projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and implementation of medium to large multi-discipline projects.
• Support business development through scoping, proposals, interviews, and contracts.
• Define project scope, schedules, budgets, staffing, and vendor lists.
• Form a project team and ensure execution of tasks on schedule.
• Submit documents to authorities for code compliance and permits.
• Meet with client management to resolve issues and obtain approvals.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with clients for business development.
• Plan, organize, communicate, and coordinate project engagements.
• Manage day-to-day activities with Clients and Project Stakeholders.
• Prepare project opening orders, outlines, schedules, and closings.
• Achieve project objectives for quality, scope, budgets, and schedules.
• Maintain accurate project records and performance metrics.
• Analyze performance, resource utilization, profitability, margins, and revenues.
• Identify potential out-of-scope work and manage change orders.
• Identify and manage project risk from proposal through duration.
• Train, mentor, and oversee other Project Managers and conduct reviews.
