Job summary

PowerToFly is seeking an experienced Senior PowerBI Developer to join our AI & Engineering team on a project-based consultative model. You will deliver BI solutions without heavy travel, focusing on data-driven decisions and client success.

As part of a collaborative team, you will build Power BI reports, manage data models, and ensure robust data connections across SQL Server, Azure Synapse, SharePoint, and more, while advancing deployment practices and security.

Qualifications

5+ years delivering BI/analytics in Agile environments.
Experience building Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models.
Strong SQL skills with enterprise data sources.
Knowledge of Power BI Service admin, workspaces, gateways, RLS, deployment.
Familiarity with Power Platform, Azure data services; AI-assisted development tools a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models.
Translate business requirements into scalable BI/analytics solutions in Agile delivery.
Build data models using star schemas, relationships, DAX, and Power Query.
Connect to and optimize data from SQL Server, Azure Synapse, SharePoint, etc.
Support BI service administration and deployment processes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and improve reporting.
