Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a Senior Power BI Engineer / Analytics Engineer with 10+ years of enterprise BI experience to design and deliver executive-grade dashboards and analytics on a scalable Azure data platform.

You will own semantic modeling, KPI development, and data pipelines across the organization, partnering with stakeholders to transform complex data into actionable insights in a fully remote U.S.-based setting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise BI experience.
• Expertise in Power BI, data modeling, and Azure data platforms.
• Experience building executive dashboards and semantic models.
• Strong collaboration with business stakeholders and governance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting solutions.
• Build and optimize Power BI Semantic Models, star schemas, and enterprise data models.
• Develop advanced DAX calculations, KPIs, measures, and business metrics for reporting and analytics.
• Create interactive visualizations to drive strategic business decisions across functions.
• Partner with business leaders to translate requirements into scalable analytics solutions.
• Design and implement data pipelines using Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, PySpark, and SQL.
• Develop Lakehouse and data warehouse solutions leveraging Azure Synapse, ADLS Gen2, Delta Lake, Apache Iceberg.
• Ensure data quality, governance, lineage, security, and compliance across environments.
• Optimize Power BI performance through dataset design, query tuning, and incremental refresh strategies.
• Support enterprise analytics initiatives and KPI standardization.
• Implement CI/CD and DataOps for Power BI deployments.
• Mentor team members and establish reporting and analytics best practices.
