Job summary

The University of Cincinnati, Department of Accounting and Finance, College of Medicine, is recruiting a Post-Award Senior Grant Administrator to manage proposal budgets, prepare grant materials, and advise on compliance across federal and non-federal sponsors. This team-oriented role supports RPPRs, NOAs, subcontracts, and award closeouts in a high-volume environment.

This role offers training and the possibility of a fully remote schedule for applicants residing in OH/IN/KY after training,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Seven years of relevant experience or training can be used in lieu of education.
• Knowledge of Uniform Guidance.
• Familiarity with NIH grant proposal submission policies and procedures.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks.
• Effective time management and prioritization are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead post-award grant administration tasks including award setup and NOA review for compliance.
• Coordinate subcontract requests and carryover actions with general accountants and PIs.
• Prepare RPPR cases and ensure required documentation from stakeholders.
• Advise on changes in PI, scope, subawards, and no-cost extensions.
• Collaborate with university offices to meet expenditure/compliance requirements.
• Assist with training staff on sponsored project requirements and UC financial systems.
