Job summary

The University of Cincinnati is seeking a Grant Administrator 2 in the College of Medicine to oversee post-award grant administration tasks. You will engage in award setup, RPPR processing, and close-out activities, coordinating with PIs, admins, and SRS to ensure compliance and accurate reporting.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of grant/finance experience, with strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; six years of relevant work experience may be substituted for education.
• Two years of grant and/or finance-related experience required; knowledge of Uniform Guidance.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills; ability to work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Manage new grant award setup, including NOA review, budget adjustments, and award setup in Salesforce.
• Submit subcontract requests and coordinate with PIs, department admins, accountants, and SRS for post-award activities.
• Process RPPRs, gather required documentation, calculate personnel effort, and submit reports for sponsor review.
• Advise PIs and staff on award changes, scope adjustments, no-cost extensions, and carryforward calculations.
• Assist with award close-out, final expense reporting, and compliance across sponsored projects.
