Job summary

The University of Cincinnati is seeking a Grant Administrator 2 in the College of Medicine, Department of Accounting & Finance. This role manages post-award activities, NOA reviews, budget adjustments, and reporting in collaboration with PIs, department administrators, and Sponsored Research Services.

Remote work is available for applicants residing in OH/IN/KY after training, with opportunities to mentor junior staff and ensure compliant, accurate financial reporting throughout the grant

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; six years of relevant work experience may be used in lieu of education.
Two years of grant and/or finance-related experience.
Knowledge of Uniform Guidance.
Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Set up new grant awards and adjust budgets to ensure compliance.
Submit subcontract requests and coordinate with PIs and accountants.
Process RPPRs and prepare progress reports with required documentation.
Advise on changes in PI, award scope, or no-cost extensions.
Collaborate to complete award close-out procedures and final reporting.
