Jaguar Land Rover in the United States seeks a Port Manager to oversee port processing facilities, ensuring vehicles are processed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will coordinate facility setup, implement service actions and port installed options, and manage contractual demands with a focus on cost optimization and customer satisfaction.

Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business, Engineering, or similar.
• 5-7 years in Automotive Industry in areas like Production Systems, Warehousing, Transportation, or as a Certified Technician.
• TWIC – Transport Worker Identification Credential (Must have).
• TWIC Escort credential is required as well.
• IT skills with networks, printers, scanners, and laptops.
• Excel, PowerPoint, Word and systems PVOS, D42, SAP & Vista experience.
• Advanced project management skills.
• Advanced report writing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct Jaguar Land Rover operations at Port Processing facilities.
• Set up and operate facilities that support JLR objectives.
• Coordinate implementation of service actions and port installed options.
• Ensure contractual demands are met with quality, performance and cost optimization.
• Liaise with internal JLR customers across departments.
• Review and approve port billing for final payment.
• Explore opportunities to increase production volume.
• Support port processing activities from ship arrivals to vehicle status.
• Conduct audits of all facets of port processing operations.
