Job summary

Pinnacle Pools & Spas of Orlando is seeking a Senior Pool Designer who can turn a homeowner's vision into a backyard they can't wait to enjoy. You'll lead customers through the design and sales process from the first consultation to a signed agreement.

As an experienced designer and salesperson, you will create beautiful, buildable projects, guide customers through big purchasing decisions, and ensure accurate pricing, documentation, and smooth transition to construction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in pool design and sales.
• Experience with high value residential projects.
• Experience with Pool Studio / Structure Studios preferred.
• Ability to create accurate proposals and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Meet homeowners to understand vision, property, priorities, and budget.
• Design customized pools and outdoor living spaces using professional pool design software.
• Develop accurate, profitable proposals and confidently present your design and recommendations to customers.
• Manage your opportunities through consistent follow up, objection handling, and closing.
• Prepare complete and accurate contract packets so sold projects can transition smoothly into permitting and construction.
• Stay connected with customers after the sale, including key construction milestones such as Day of Dig and Day of Gunite.
• Build referral relationships and represent our business at sales and marketing events when needed.

About the Role

At Pinnacle Pools & Spas of Orlando, we're a locally owned and operated business looking for a Senior Pool Designer who can turn a homeowner's vision into a backyard they can't wait to enjoy. You'll lead customers through the entire design and sales experience, from the first consultation through design, pricing, presentation, and a signed agreement.

We're looking for an experienced designer and salesperson who can create beautiful, buildable projects, confidently guide customers through significant purchasing decisions, and produce profitable projects that set our construction team up for success.

• You have experience designing and selling pools, outdoor living projects, or other high value residential projects.
• You can take a customer's ideas, property, budget, and priorities and turn them into a design that is both exciting and realistic to build.
• You're confident presenting your designs, explaining value, navigating objections, and asking customers to move forward.
• You understand that a great sale isn't just about closing the deal. It also requires accurate pricing, complete documentation, and setting realistic expectations for construction.
• You build relationships that create repeat business, referrals, and customers who are excited to recommend you.

Requirements

• Proven experience in pool design and sales, outdoor living design, or comparable high value residential sales.
• Experience using professional pool design software such as Pool Studio / Structure Studios preferred.
• Strong understanding of how design decisions, materials, site conditions, and project scope affect pricing and construction.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a sales pipeline and close high value projects.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, communication, and relationship building skills.
• Ability to create accurate proposals, pricing, contracts, and project documentation.
• Strong organization and follow through throughout a longer sales and construction cycle.
