Job summary

Tremco Construction Products Group (CPG), part of RPM International Inc., seeks an applicant with knowledge of sealant/coating formulations across multiple chemistries. Responsible for new developmental projects and support across operations and supply chain.

Will work with senior leadership and communicate project updates to drive completion. The role requires expertise in reactive chemistries, formulation and new product development, and knowledge of the adhesive and sealants market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or polymer science.
• Experience with reactive chemistries (1 and 2K polyurethanes, hybrids, and silicones).
• Knowledge of adhesive and sealants market; technical services and applications testing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise research projects that deliver business results.
• Lead multiple project activities through a defined product development process.
• Oversee the design of experiments to evaluate and optimize performance attributes of technologies.
• Understand process capability, design criteria, and structure-property relationships for developed products.
• Assure and validate proper documentation of technical and experimental activities.
• Present work and subject matter cross-functionally to stakeholders.
• Travel up to 10% as required.
