Job summary

Tremco Construction Products Group (CPG) Inc., part of RPM International, seeks a chemist with coating formulation knowledge across reactive, one-component systems and butyl technologies. You will lead development projects and support operations and supply chain under guidance from senior leadership.

Collaborate across cross-functional teams, design experiments, analyze data, document results, and communicate updates to inform tactical decisions. Travel up to 10% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, polymer science or related.
• 2+ years' experience including internships in reactive chemistries, formulation and new product development.
• Knowledge of adhesive and sealants market; technical services and applications testing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support research projects that deliver business results through data-driven decision making.
• Design and execute experiments to evaluate and optimize performance attributes of assigned technologies.
• Work within cross-functional teams to enable new product development project success.
• Execute multiple project activities through a defined product development process.
• Execute data analysis and interpretation in support of project and product problem solving.
• Maintain proper documentation of technical and experimental activities.
• Present work to internal stakeholders to facilitate discussion of project management.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
