Job summary

Tremco Construction Products Group (CPG), part of RPM International Inc., is seeking a candidate with strong chemistry knowledge to lead development projects and provide supply chain support. The role emphasizes reactive chemistries, formulation and adhesive/sealant expertise, with collaboration across functions and potential travel.

The position requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or polymer science and at least four years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or polymer science.
• 4+ years of experience in reactive chemistries, formulations and adhesives/sealants.
• Experience with technical services and applications testing is preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise research projects that deliver business results.
• Lead multiple project activities through a defined product development process.
• Oversee the design of experiments to evaluate and optimize the performance attributes of these technologies.
• Understand process capability and structure-property relationships for developed products.
• Assure and validate proper documentation of technical and experimental activities.
• Present work and subject matter cross-functionally to stakeholders.
