Job summary

Tremco Construction Products Group (CPG), part of RPM International Inc., seeks an applicant with knowledge of sealant/coating formulations across multiple chemistries to lead development projects and operational support.

The incumbent will advance projects with guidance from senior leadership, communicate updates to stakeholders, and demonstrate collaboration and accountability in a team environment. A Bachelor’s or Master’s in chemistry/chemical engineering/polymer science is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in chemistry, chemical engineering or polymer science.
• 4+ years of experience in reactive chemistries and product development.
• Experience with adhesives/sealants markets and technical testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise research projects that deliver business results.
• Lead multiple product development activities through a defined process.
• Oversee experimental design to evaluate and optimize technologies.
• Understand process capability and structure-property relationships.
• Document responsible technical activities and results.
• Present work to stakeholders cross-functionally.
• Travel as required up to 10%.
