Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation seeks a PNT Modeling & Simulation Senior Engineering Specialist. This on-site role is based in Chantilly VA, Colorado Springs CO, or El Segundo CA, requiring 100% onsite work.

You will lead sophisticated simulations to verify requirements, assess alternatives, and evaluate navigation and positioning systems, interfacing with government and Aerospace teams. Requirements include a BS in a related field, 10+ years of experience, and proficiency in

Qualifications

BS degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering, mathematics, or related discipline.
10+ years of progressive relevant academic, professional, technical work experience.
Experience in space-related modeling & simulation, geolocation, or signal processing.
Proficiency in Python, C++, Fortran, or MATLAB.
Ability to obtain TS/SCI security clearance.

Responsibilities

Act as senior technical advisor for department and staff on PNT architecture and geolocation.
Collaborate with program office, government leaders, and other agencies for analyses and recommendations.
Lead multi-disciplinary teams to drive research, development, and acquisition decisions.
Oversee development and sustainment plans for M&S tools and capabilities.
Mentor junior staff and maintain bench depth in capabilities.
Develop and present timely, technically accurate analyses and reports.
